Project Name: Next DC Data Centre Tullamarine

Problem: The project was reaching a stage where the number of labourers on site would double. The facilities were not equipped to handle the influx and comply with union demands. They would need the facilities indefinitely as more stages of the project opened up over the next 5-10 years. Space was a constraint, as they needed space around the construction for traffic movement and material storage.

Solution: ATOM Modular visited the site, consulted with the Project Manager, Site Manager, and Contract Administrator, and designed a 12x12m Two-Story Lunchroom Facility, along with a first aid room, shop steward’s office, change room, and two toilet blocks. This would accommodate another 200 people on site over the years to come. Kapitol Group has now re-engaged ATOM Modular to build two More Two-Story Lunchrooms for further data centre work on that project.
