The brief

Kapitol Group needed additional facilities as the workforce expanded at its Tullamarine data centre construction project. Space was limited, with vehicle access and material storage areas needing to remain available throughout construction.

What we delivered

ATOM Modular visited the site and worked with the project manager, site manager and contract administrator to develop a layout around the workforce requirements and available space.

The scope included:

– A two-storey lunchroom facility
– A first-aid room
– A shop steward’s office
– A change room
– Two toilet blocks

The two-storey configuration provided additional lunchroom space while limiting the ground area required.

The outcome

The facilities supported the expanding workforce while retaining space for site operations. Kapitol Group subsequently re-engaged ATOM Modular for two additional two-storey lunchrooms associated with further data centre work.
